Sangeet's Message About This Morning's Journey to Brahm Prakash Meditation

Sat Nam My Dear Family!

What a month we have entered!

The power of this year's Planetary 9 Cycle has come round to a month where we must address both primary aspects of the mind – the mundane rational mind that can be a helper or trap us in a mental box and the vast mind that can take us to the ethers and the knowledge of God and yet can leave us scattered and helpless in the spin of unreality, incompletions and unfocused thinking.

These are the attributes of the 4 Neutral Mind (all this month) and the 9 Mind of the Subtle Energy Body (all year). This can bring a mammoth psychological interlock. Both minds are necessary – the limited consciousness that must use reason and the unlimited consciousness entered through the open door of intuition. There you have it: limited mind and Infinite Mind.

"Man jitay jug jeet" – "Conquer your mind and you conquer the world" – a wisdom-command written by Guru Nanak in the late 1400s.

So this is the month we must take some major steps to do just that. Otherwise we reap the mental whirlwind.

Practical steps will help. Complete as many tasks as you can. Start nothing you are not fully committed to finishing. Live with absolute gratitude for everything. Clean closets, in fact clean house – isn't this a great time for "spring housecleaning?" We are at our house! Anytime you feel stuck, step out in the sun for awhile, and chant, chant, chant. Day and night. Aloud or whispered in your mind.

We continue to build our self-mastery in this challenging 9 Cycle with our 2-1/2 hour meditations each month. This is a month to be remembered! We must meet the challenges of our limited mind and lift it to vibrate on the level of our Infinite Mind.

On the 16th of each month a major portal opens around the world that allows us to meditate and reach the heavenly ethers to enlist the support of the ancient masters to surround this planet with the power and intention of our meditation and prayers.

This month’s mantra is:

Gobinday Mukunday Undaray Aparay Hariung Kariung Nirnamay Akamay

It is known as the Guru Gaitri Mantra and will be chanted as a strong celestial march. We will generate enormous power and uplift!

Here are extracts from what Yogi Bhajan said about this mantra when he first taught it on 9/11/1976:

"These are eight facets of God, eight sides of God...These words existed before any language existed...These are called rhythm mantras. Rhythm mantras are meant to pick you up into the ether. This is one mantra in the world which balances the ether and the Earth... You can sing it driving, sitting, eating, sleeping... Whenever you utter it, all facets of God will be right in you. Now, when you will do this, after a while you will say something and it will happen; don't worry. Just keep on doing it...The Guru Gaitri Mantra of Guru Gobind Singh has the power of the four Vedas, six Puranas and thirty-six Simritis. All these (ancient sacred texts) are equal to reciting the Guru Gaitri just once... Whosoever shall chant it, the Primal Power, the Adi Shakti, will guard that being… This mantra is a ‘Shakti’ mantra. Shakti gives one the positive power of God. If you chant this mantra, there shall be no enemy, including one’s own ego, which can overpower you. It is a mantra of deathlessness.”

Translation: Sustainer, Liberator, Enlightener, Infinite One, Destroyer, Creator, Nameless, Desireless.

So, come join me Saturday April 16th either in person in Phoenix, or here on this website for the live streaming. I look forward to growing, glowing and spring cleaning together!

Bless you in all ways, always,

   Sangeet

Compatibility and Support Information for Computers / Smart Phone / Tablets

Please note that on some computers, phones and tablets the video can take up to 60 seconds to start (it is buffering the video stream).

Video support for mobile devices ("smart" phones and tablets) is often iffy because they use the newer and currently less compatible "HTML 5" video instead of Flash.

Desktop/laptop computers (Windows, Mac and Linux) work best because they come with Adobe Flash Player. Please check that you have a very recent version of Flash.

Mac users often have problems with the built-in browser "Safari". Install Google's "Chrome" browser or Mozilla's "Firefox" browser and use either one of those instead. (The difference between those two mostly has to do with privacy -with Chrome, being from Google, you surrender all your privacy [same as using Safari] and Firefox, being from the Mozilla Foundation, you retain most of your privacy.)

Android Smart Phones and Tablets purchased within the past year or so usually work fine with the video. If the video in the box above is not working after about a minute (and you are using Android's built-in web browser), then it probably won't work. However, installing Firefox-for-Andriod (free and found in the Google Play store) usually does work. We personally use Firefox-for-Android on our Android devices rather than the built-in brower (for a number of reasons including better privacy and also better compatibility with HTML 5 video). So you might want to give it a try!

iOS (iPhones and iPads) purchased within the past year or so usually work fine with the video. Older versions often struggle to keep a reliable video connection and there really isn't a way to fix it.

In general, though, if the video stops and there is just a black box without a big "start" button in the middle of it, "refreshing" your browser (pressing "F5" works most of the time) usually re-starts the video. Unfortunately, interuptions during live broadcasts are mostly unavoidable. However, with the new cutting-edge technology we're using in 2016 combined with you using a computer / smart phone / tablet less than 2 years old can minimized interuptions and in some cases avoid them all together. It is just the nature of this young technology, but it will improve in the coming years.

Sangeet's Message About Tonight's Journey to Brahm Prakash Meditation

Dear Friends,

Continuing to build our self-mastery in this unpredictable 9 Cycle with our 2-1/2 hour meditations we strive to achieve some measure of balance and steadiness while dropping the past that no longer serves us.

As the Planetary Cycle I've dubbed "March Madness" progresses, with its vortex-like spinning of emotions, we must harness the wind and pull ourselves into the purity of the neutral mind.

So the chant for this meditation focuses on the "Ether Tattva", giving us control of the throat chakra.

The mantra we will be chanting is:

Sat Nam, Sat Nam, Sat Nam, Sat Nam, Sat Nam, Sat Nam, Wahe Guru!

It is chanted in an upbeat 8-stroke happy fashion. This brings elevation, balances the nervous system and activates the throat chakra to link the mind to the etheric bliss of the heavens.

Come join me for this special meditation on Wednesday March 16!

Bless you in all ways, always,

   Sangeet

Sangeet's Message About Tonight's Journey to Brahm Prakash Meditation

Dear Friends,

We continue to build our self-mastery in this challenging 9 Cycle with our 2-1/2 hour meditations on the 16th of each month. We focus on achieving a balance between steadily holding on our course while letting go of that which no longer serves us.

At this stage, while our planet is in an 11 Cycle month, our sense of protection, of being an intimate part of Infinite Consciousness is under fire! We might feel isolation, separation from Divine care and guidance. We must take a strong approach to change this.

The meditation we are doing tonight is a pure command for merger with Universal Greatness that flows through us all. It reasserts who we are as intimate parts of the Divine.

This date (each month) takes advantage of a planetary opening that allows us to reach the heavenly ethers and enlist the support of the ancient masters to surround this planet with our prayers.

The mantra we will be chanting is:

Ang Sung Wahe Guru

"In every cell I am Wahe Guru - one in the ecstasy of God." It brings the deep realization that there is no piece or part of ourselves, no action, and no life that is not already the living vibration of the Infinite. We are one with God. With this power we can remove blocks and dissolve the negativity in our world.

Yogi Bhajan said, in The Master’s Touch, [a-healing.com] that

“…if you have put God outside of you, there’s nothing in you, and that’s why you’re suffering.” He continued, “You need a reality that Ang Sang Wahe Guru, with every limb, with thirty trillion cells of you which change themselves every seventy-two hours, God is in you.”

This mantra is also used to eliminate haunting thoughts, to bring peace when there is emotional imbalance, and to counter the phobias and depression that can happen in times of conflict and war. It reminds us of our larger connection with the universe and takes us out of limited, defensive thinking.

Bless you in all ways, always,

   Sangeet

Sangeet's Message About This Morning's Journey to Brahm Prakash Meditation

Dear Friends,

This Saturday is a very special occasion. It is the first planetary opening in 2016. It is a special time we can engage the great masters residing in the highest etheric realm of Brahm Prakash to work through us, in our meditation, to heal this planet.

We will initiate this process on the planetary opening date of the 16th of each month throughout 2016. This time, this Saturday January 16th, we will put aside our usual evening start-time and begin before sunrise -- at 6am.

The sacred energy of the early hours will lift us on golden wings! Come spread your wings with me chanting for 2-1/2 hours the primal sound current meditation formally titled "Adi Shakti Mantra", but usually we just call this meditation "the Long Eks."

The full mantra is:

Ek Ong Kar, Sat Nam, Siri Wahe Guru

This mantra roughly means "There is One God, vibrating as one with all creation. This is the true identity, the great truth. The highest ecstasy of the Divine Wahe Guru fills us."

For those of you who join us in person we'll share a simple, heart-warming gluten-free vegan hot cereal with all the "fixins" and of course hot Yogi Tea afterwards. If you can, let us know you're coming, otherwise just show up, that's okay (even if you come a few minutes late).

Bless you in all ways, always,

Sangeet's Message About Tonight's Journey to Brahm Prakash Meditation

Dear Friends,

Closing the Year on the Rising Spiritual Force!

We close the 8 Planetary Cycle Year on the rising spiritual force of the 11, engaging our Divine Spirit to help heal our beloved planet and elevate our lives and those of our family circles. Our goal is to promote faith in the Divine and in the Divine within ourselves, as well as bring us courage as we enter the New Year.

We'll be chanting for 2-1/2 hours a highly energized version of the classic “Ong Namo” chant which I recorded several years ago, and tonight we will use that recording to help carry us to new heights.

The full mantra is:

Ong Namo, Guru Dev Namo, Guru Dev Namo, Guru Deva

We will be chanting it three times on a breath, seeking to meld our consciousness into one collective consciousness. For individual purposes it can be chanted five times on a breath.

This was one of our teacher's, Yogi Bhajan's, favorite meditations. It is a variant of the Adi Mantra that we use to “tune in” at the start of every class. This version is referred to as the complete form of the Adi Mantra and is often used for individual meditative practice. Tonight we are seeking to create a new singular collective with this chant.

Yogi Bhajan Comments:

“Use this mantra in its complete form anytime you have a lack of faith or any similar thing. Many of you will enter Shakti Pad (period of great doubt), or you are in it, this mantra will help. With the grace of Guru Ram Das, when this mantra is chanted five times on one breath (three times for group practice), the total spiritual knowledge of all teachers who have ever existed or who will ever exist on this Earth is seated in the person.”

Translation:

Ong Namo calls on our consciousness to become subtle and receptive to its own higher resources. “Guru Dev Namo” calls on the subtle wisdom that guides all of us in an impersonally personal manner. This wisdom is stored and transmitted through the subtle and radiant bodies that reside within the aura of everyone. It is the realm and guidance of Guru Ram Das.

Great dignity and grace come to all who chant this mantra.

For those of you who join us in person we'll share a cozy, heart-warming vegan meal afterwards. If you can, let us know you're coming, otherwise just show up, that's okay (even if you come a few minutes late).

Bless you in all ways, always,

   Sangeet

Sangeet's Message About Tonight's Journey to Brahm Prakash Meditation

Dear Friends,

Never in recent years have we needed this meditation more than tonight!

This is the time to muster courage to stand in the face of fear, of psychic and physical assaults and the threats of more to come. It is time for you to be victorious again in your own life!

Never in recent years have we needed this meditation more than now at this chaotic time in human history.

Let your lights shine with ours. Pray for Paris, pray for Europe, pray for humanity here and everywhere!

Come Join Us - live right here on this web page.

Let this be our victory chant- "Chatara Chakara Vartee" - as we chant for 2-1/2 hours. Written by one of the great warriors of all time - Guru Gobind Singh - who stood against the invading armies in India and, time and time again WON!

Here is the mantra for this incredible meditation. Please note that the first two words of the first two lines are different ("Chatara" and "Chakara") and are NOT pronounced the same! The spelling and pronunciation are so similar that during the bliss of the meditation sometimes the two different sounds get merged into some sort of third sound. Be conscious during your chanting!

Chatara Chakara Vartee
Chatara Chakara Bhugatay
Suyambhav Subhang
Saraba Daa
Saraab Jugatay.

Dukaalan Pranasee
Diaalang Saroopay
Sadaa Ang Sangay
Abhangang Bibhootay

Yogi Bhajan Comments:
"Chatara Chakara Vartee is the mantra for the heart center, it gives direct energy to it. When you are sinking, if you know this mantra and can sing it, you can totally recuperate yourself.” — Yogi Bhajan

"The sound current of these lines of Jaap Sahib reveals multi-current sounds to avoid the crush of bad times. It makes even the worst situations very light." Yogi Bhajan (Master's Touch 2001)

Translation:
You are pervading in all the four directions, the Enjoyer in all the four directions. You are self-illumined, profoundly beautiful, and united with all. Destroyer of the torments of birth and death, embodiment of mercy. You are ever within us. You are the everlasting giver of indestructible power. (Courtesy of SpiritVoyage.com)

However, with the new cutting-edge technology we're using in 2015 combined with you using a computer / smart phone / tablet less than 2 years old can minimized interuptions and in some cases avoid them all together. It is just the nature of this young technology, but it will improve in the coming years.
