Sangeet's Message About Tonight's Journey to Brahm Prakash Meditation

Command the Mind, Command the Universe! Chanting the Guru Gaitri Mantra Wrapped in the “Har” Sounds Calling on the Original Force of Creativity

Dear Friends,

This is an ultimate Bhakti-Shakti mantra – bringing command through devotional surrender.

In the words of our beloved Teacher and Kundalini Yoga Master Yogi Bhajan, this mantra “contains the eight facets of Self/God. (Preceding each facet) with four repetitions of Har, the original force of Creativity... gives power to all aspects and provides the power to break down barriers of the past. It converts fear into the determination to use and expand the reserve energy of the Navel Point. It provides guidance and sustenance; all powers come to serve your true purpose.”

Yogi Bhajan often told us if we can relate to all facets of God then nothing will defeat us.

Asana & Mudra:

Sit with a straight spine either on your yoga mat or in a chair. Arms are crossed across the front in a relaxed manner. Right arm on top grasps the left elbow; left arm is underneath with hand turned to cradle the right elbow. These rest lightly against the body.

Pull the navel back with each sound of Har and also with the first syllable of the word following the 4 Hars, releasing the navel before the next line begins.

When Yogi Bhajan taught this mantra with this mudra and navel pulsing in the late 90s at the close of Summer Solstice he emphasized the importance of the navel pulls -- “five pulls with each line!” he shouted over our chanting to correct us.

Pranayam & Drishti:

Breathing will adjust itself to the pulse we set with the chant.

Eyes either at the tip of the nose or rolled up to the Third Eye Point

Mantra:

Har Har Har Har Gobinday
Har Har Har Har Mukanday
Har Har Har Har Udaaray
Har Har Har Har Apaaray
Har Har Har Har Hareeang
Har Har Har Har Kareeang
Har Har Har Har Nirnaamay
Har Har Har Har Akaamay

Translation:

Sustainer, Liberator, Enlightener, Infinite One, Destroyer, Creator, Nameless, Desireless.

Bless you in all ways, always,

   Sangeet

Compatibility and Support Information for Computers / Smart Phone / Tablets

Please note that on some computers, phones and tablets the video can take up to 60 seconds to start (it is buffering the video stream).

Video support for mobile devices ("smart" phones and tablets) is often iffy because they use the newer and currently less compatible "HTML5" video instead of Flash.

Desktop/laptop computers (Windows, Mac and Linux) work best because they come with Adobe Flash Player. Please check that you have a very recent version of Flash. Video support for mobile devices, however, is often iffy. Mac users often have problems with the built-in browser "Safari". Install Google's "Chrome" browser or Mozilla's "Firefox" browser and use either one of those instead. (The difference between those two mostly has to do with privacy -with Chrome, being from Google, you surrender all your privacy [same as using Safari] and Firefox, being from the Mozilla Foundation, you retain much of your privacy.)

Android Smart Phone and Tablet users -In the recent versions of Andriod the built-in browser is called "Chrome." It is most compatible and usually works very well. If the video is not playing correctly, then there is not really anything that can be done other than try a desktop computer if one is nearby -that may work better for you.

Firefox-for-Andriod (free and found in the Google Play store) usually works well. We personally use Firefox-for-Android on our Android devices rather than the built-in brower (for a number of reasons including better privacy and also better compatibility with HTML 5 video). So you might want to give it a try!

iPads and iPhones purchased within the past year or so usually work fine with the video. Older versions often struggle to keep a reliable video connection and there really isn't a way to fix it.

In general, though, if the video stops and there is just a black box without a big "Play" button in the middle of it, "refreshing" your browser usually re-starts the video. Unfortunately, interruptions during live broadcasts are usually unavoidable. However, with the new cutting-edge technology we're using in 2016 combined with you using a computer / smart phone / tablet less than 2 years old can minimized interruptions and in some cases avoid them all together. It is just the nature of this young technology, but it will improve in the coming years.

Sangeet's Message About Tonight's Journey to Brahm Prakash Meditation

Dear Friends,

Join us for our Journey To Brahm Prakash 2-1/2 hour Master Meditation on the 17th of each month when a major portal opens around the world that allows us to meditate and reach the heavenly ethers. In our linked devotion, dedication and growing numbers of chanters, we enlist the support of the masters to carry our prayers to all humanity.

We will be chanting a special 2-1/2 hour mantra for Self-Realization:

Dharti Hai,
Akash Hai,
Guru Ram Das Hai
!

This is the Isht Sodhana Mantra. This meditation straightens you out and gives you the realization of you in highest consciousness, with the concrete realization of God.

Yogi Bhajan said about this kriya:

“My dear ones, you want your prayers to be effective. You want your ultimate destiny to manifest. This kriya can do it. I know there are thousands of kriyas that we do, but it just takes one done well and this is the one for Isht Sodhana to manifest.”

Sangeet will lead us in the visualization and movements done with this Kriya.

UPDATE: We have new cushions to sit on, so come and try them -whoo hoo!

Bless you in all ways, always,

Sangeet's Message About Tonight's Journey to Brahm Prakash Meditation

Dear Friends,

This year our Brahm Prakash 2-1/2 hour Master Meditations move to the 17th of each month when a major portal opens around the world that allows us to meditate and reach the heavenly ethers. In our linked devotion, dedication and growing numbers of chanters, we enlist the support of the masters to carry our prayers to all humanity.

We start January off with a powerful mantra for protection, capable of wiping away all negativity and blocking the impact of enemies, even if the enemy is within.

We will be chanting a special 2-1/2 hour mantra for protection:

Aap Sohaaee Hoaa Sachay Daa Sacha Doaa,
Har! Har! Har!

Translation: “The Lord has become my refuge, my protector. The truest of the True is my support.”

The Mantra is from the sacred writings of the Sikhs, the Siri Guru Granth Sahib.

According to Yogi Bhajan, chanting this mantra

“...will totally eliminate enemies and block the impact of animosity forever. It can give you mental self-control.”

Additionally, chanting it for 62 minutes can relieve unbearable financial pressure, especially when done between 3 am - 4 am. I explain how to do it in the article "Meditation For Divine Support and Protection."

Come join us to strengthen and elevate your own life and the lives of those important to you! No experience is necessary, but please note that for some people sitting still for 2-1/2 hours can be its own challenge (and reward).

Sangeet's Message About Tonight's Journey to Brahm Prakash Meditation

Dear Friends,

With this month's Journey to Brahm Prakash master meditation we continue strengthening our self-mastery in the final month of the current "9 Planetary Cycle Year" of 2016. Way to go everyone - you've made it through some tough times!

But, not so fast, that old "9" isn't finished with us yet. A "9 Planetary Cycle Year" is very different from all the other Annual Cycles. Just ask any of Sangeet's numerology students, and they'll tell you that a "9 Planetary Cycle Year" has a Very Long Tail of Influence (VLTI) that will extend well into 2017.

Tonight's meditation will, among other benefits, help with the transition from a "9 Planetary Cycle Year" to a "10 Planetary Cycle Year" that brings us a fresh new beginning but also brings along the issues we have not yet resolved with the "9 Planetary Cycle Year's" heavy VLTI. (For more details, see "Healing Source Year-End Meditation" event below.)

These 2-1/2 hour monthly meditations are timed to major portal opening around the world that allows us to meditate and reach the heavenly ethers to enlist the support of the masters to carry our prayers to all humanity.

This month's meditation is the last one to be held on the 16th of the month since the portal openings are anticipated to change.

We will be chanting a special 2-1/2 hour version of "Kirtan Kriya" with the mantra: "Saa Taa Naa Maa.”

The focus will be to dissolve karma for ourselves, our family and the planet!

Come join us to strengthen and elevate your personal and family future! No experience is necessary, but please note that for some people sitting still for 2-1/2 hours can be its own challenge (and reward).

Bless you in all ways, always,

   Sangeet

Sangeet's Message About Tonight's Journey to Brahm Prakash Meditation

Dear Friends,

With this month's Journey to Brahm Prakash master meditation we are continuing to build our self-mastery in this challenging 9 Cycle.

This 2-1/2 hour meditation is timed for a major portal opening around the world that allows us to meditate and reach the heavenly ethers to enlist the support of the masters to carry our prayers to all humanity.

This is a month to connect to the heavens! We seek nothing less than to elevate ourselves into neutral mind and call on the Divine to cover all the challenges we face as a nation and around this planet.

Now is the time to build prayer and let our sweetness prevail!

The mantra for tonight is:

Ardas Bhaee,
Amar Das Guru,
Amar Das Guru,
Ardas Bhaee;

Ram Das Guru,
Ram Das Guru,
Ram Das Guru Sachee Sahee.

This is the prayer that answers all prayers.

Chanting it assures that all needs are provided for and guarantees the prayer will be answered.

In fact, when Yogi Bhajan gave this mantra to us in the early 1980s at a New York White Tantric course, I recorded exactly what he said. The quotes are his wording.

“Ardas Bhaee” actually means “prayer has been granted” through the power of the Third Sikh Guru, Guru Amar Das, who was known as the hope of the hopeless. And then Guru Ram Das, the Fourth Guru, known as the Lord of Miracles, “puts his stamp of approval on it.”

As Yogi ji explained, “Normally there is no power in the human but the power of prayer. And to do prayer, you have to put your mind and body together and then pray from the soul. Ardas Bhaee is a mantra prayer. If you sing it, your mind, body and soul automatically combine and without saying what you want, the need of the life is adjusted. That is the beauty of this prayer.”

For those of you who join us in person we'll share a cozy, heart-warming vegan meal afterwards.

If you can, let us know you're coming, otherwise just show up, that's okay (even if you come a few minutes late).

Bless you in all ways, always,

   Sangeet

Sangeet's Message About Tonight's Journey to Brahm Prakash Meditation

Dear Friends,

With this Journey to Brahm Prakash Master Meditation we continue to build our self-mastery in this challenging "9 Cycle."

This is a month to be remembered! We seek nothing less than to make big strides forward with renewed courage in challenging times.

On the 16th of each month a major portal opens around the world that allows us to meditate and reach the heavenly ethers to enlist the support of the ancient masters to surround this planet with the power and intention of our meditation and prayers.

Tonight's 2-1/2 hour master meditation to victory is the chant "Chatara Chakara Vartee.”

This is the closing verse of the prayer “Jaap Sahib” written by the great warrior Guru Gobind Singh who defended India against the Mogul onslaught in the late 16th Century. Chanting it dispels fears, anxieties and insecurities and brings fearlessness, courage and victory.

Here is the mantra for this incredible meditation. Please note that the first two words of the first two lines are different ("Chatara" and "Chakara") and are NOT pronounced the same! The spelling and pronunciation are so similar that during the bliss of the meditation sometimes the two different sounds get merged into some sort of third sound. Be conscious during your chanting!

Chatara Chakara Vartee
Chatara Chakara Bhugatay
Suyambhav Subhang
Saraba Daa
Saraab Jugatay.

Dukaalan Pranasee
Diaalang Saroopay
Sadaa Ang Sangay
Abhangang Bibhootay

Yogi Bhajan Comments:
"Chatara Chakara Vartee is the mantra for the heart center, it gives direct energy to it. When you are sinking, if you know this mantra and can sing it, you can totally recuperate yourself.” — Yogi Bhajan

"The sound current of these lines of Jaap Sahib reveals multi-current sounds to avoid the crush of bad times. It makes even the worst situations very light." Yogi Bhajan (Master's Touch 2001)

Translation:
You are pervading in all the four directions, the Enjoyer in all the four directions. You are self-illumined, profoundly beautiful, and united with all. Destroyer of the torments of birth and death, embodiment of mercy. You are ever within us. You are the everlasting giver of indestructible power. (Courtesy of SpiritVoyage.com)

We will be chanting this mantra set to a powerful rhythm from the CD "Lightness of Being" by Satkirin Kaur Khalsa (satkirin.com).

For those of you who join us in person we'll share a cozy, heart-warming vegan meal afterwards.

If you can, let us know you're coming, otherwise just show up, that's okay (even if you come a few minutes late).

Bless you in all ways, always,
