Sangeet's Message About Tonight's Journey to Brahm Prakash Meditation
This latest installment of our monthly 2-1/2 hour meditations gives us the opportunity to expand consciousness and the state of compassion and love outward to heal this world.
Join us and tap into this special gift of creating a sacred sanctuary within ourselves with the “Sat Kartar” Meditation.
The work we do together on this date will magnify around the planet as compassionate consciousness sorely needs to be elevated at this time!
"Sat Kartar" is an expression that Guru Nanak, founder of the Sikh Path, (which many of our Kundalini Yoga mantras have come from) would say when things would happen, good or bad.
His response was, "Sat Kartar!" basically affirming “God is the True Doer of all.”
This has also been said to reflect the pure nature within us all as “those who walk in truth.” When this mantra is repeated over time, we are expanding and building the energetic flow of the heart.
We will immerse ourselves in this heart-opening mantra with specific hand movements that invite the spread of heart energy. As these moves enhance our heart-felt power they serve to build protective strength around us as well as extend that unstoppable strength to others within our circle.
Our call is also heard by the Masters in the realm of Brahm Prakash, the 4th heavenly realm, so that with their guidance we can extend this energy around the planet.
This is precious, sacred work and we invite all to join us tonight!
Asana & Mudra:
Sit with a straight spine either in Easy Pose on your yoga mat or comfortably in a chair. Hands will be moving in a swimmers' "breast stroke like" motion. The motion is easier to learn watching tonight's live broadcast than describe in words.
Pranayam & Drishti:
Breathing will adjust itself to the chant.
Eyes are closed and relaxed.
God is the True Doer of all.
If you can volunteer to help us set up about 4:30 pm please drop us a note via the “Contact Us” button at the top of this web page.
Bless you in all ways, always,

Please note that on some computers, phones and tablets the video can take up to 60 seconds to start (it is buffering the video stream).
Video support for mobile devices ("smart" phones and tablets) is often iffy because they use the newer and currently less compatible "HTML5" video instead of Flash.
Desktop/laptop computers (Windows, Mac and Linux) work best because they come with Adobe Flash Player. Please check that you have a very recent version of Flash. Video support for mobile devices, however, is often iffy. Mac users often have problems with the built-in browser "Safari". Install Google's "Chrome" browser or Mozilla's "Firefox" browser and use either one of those instead. (The difference between those two mostly has to do with privacy -with Chrome, being from Google, you surrender all your privacy [same as using Safari] and Firefox, being from the Mozilla Foundation, you retain much of your privacy.)
Android Smart Phone and Tablet users -In the recent versions of Andriod the built-in browser is called "Chrome." It is most compatible and usually works very well. If the video is not playing correctly, then there is not really anything that can be done other than try a desktop computer if one is nearby -that may work better for you.
Firefox-for-Andriod (free and found in the Google Play store) usually works well. We personally use Firefox-for-Android on our Android devices rather than the built-in brower (for a number of reasons including better privacy and also better compatibility with HTML 5 video). So you might want to give it a try!
iPads and iPhones purchased within the past year or so usually work fine with the video. Older versions often struggle to keep a reliable video connection and there really isn't a way to fix it.
In general, though, if the video stops and there is just a black box without a big "Play" button in the middle of it, "refreshing" your browser usually re-starts the video. Unfortunately, interruptions during live broadcasts are usually unavoidable. However, with the new cutting-edge technology we're using in 2016 combined with you using a computer / smart phone / tablet less than 2 years old can minimized interruptions and in some cases avoid them all together. It is just the nature of this young technology, but it will improve in the coming years.
