Sangeet's Message About Tonight's Journey to Brahm Prakash Meditation

Dear Friends,

This latest adventure of our monthly 2-1/2 hour meditations focuses on the opportunity to expand our Limitless Self or “Sat Nam Identity.”

We will chant the “7 Wave Sat Nam Meditation” to expand our consciousness and elevating presence.

Join us and tap into this special gift of elevated consciousness. The work we do together on this date will magnify around the planet as consciousness sorely needs to be elevated at this time!

Kundalini Yoga Master Yogi Bhajan described the effects of this meditation when he taught it in June of 1979:

“Let us purify ourselves with truth; these are vibrations. The words are “Sat Nam”. Sat represents truth; Nam represents personified. It means the spirit of that creative God, the cosmos, stands personified through these vibrations... It is an electro-physical process through which this energy is made to circulate...

“You have seen the law of tides. The tide takes six coils, on the seventh coil it goes up and then it strikes and cleanses the shore, and goes back. This is the law of tides. If the vibrations can be created by this “bij (seed) mantra,” it will cleanse the body of negativity and the remainder will be positivity and that is a divine light. Fill in your lungs with this power of Divine...

“...Practice when you want to purify yourself and you want to project truth out of you. I am a humble instrument giving you a technique which is practical, and which can be proved.

“We know that one God has created everyone, and He is in everyone, and one master key can open all the locks of darkness and unawareness.”

Asana & Mudra:

Sit with a straight spine either on your yoga mat or in a chair. Hands are in "Prayer Pose" at your heart center.

Pranayam & Drishti:

Breathing will adjust itself to the pulse we set with the chant.

Eyes are closed rolled up to the Third Eye Point

Mantra:

Sat (one long Sat in 6 pulses) followed by a short Nam

Translation:

Identity of Truth.

If you can volunteer to help us set up about 4:30 pm please drop us a note via the “Contact Us” button at the top of this web page.

Bless you in all ways, always,

   Sangeet

Compatibility and Support Information for Computers / Smart Phone / Tablets

Please note that on some computers, phones and tablets the video can take up to 60 seconds to start (it is buffering the video stream).

Video support for mobile devices ("smart" phones and tablets) is often iffy because they use the newer and currently less compatible "HTML5" video instead of Flash.

Desktop/laptop computers (Windows, Mac and Linux) work best because they come with Adobe Flash Player. Please check that you have a very recent version of Flash. Video support for mobile devices, however, is often iffy. Mac users often have problems with the built-in browser "Safari". Install Google's "Chrome" browser or Mozilla's "Firefox" browser and use either one of those instead. (The difference between those two mostly has to do with privacy -with Chrome, being from Google, you surrender all your privacy [same as using Safari] and Firefox, being from the Mozilla Foundation, you retain much of your privacy.)

Android Smart Phone and Tablet users -In the recent versions of Andriod the built-in browser is called "Chrome." It is most compatible and usually works very well. If the video is not playing correctly, then there is not really anything that can be done other than try a desktop computer if one is nearby -that may work better for you.

Firefox-for-Andriod (free and found in the Google Play store) usually works well. We personally use Firefox-for-Android on our Android devices rather than the built-in brower (for a number of reasons including better privacy and also better compatibility with HTML 5 video). So you might want to give it a try!

iPads and iPhones purchased within the past year or so usually work fine with the video. Older versions often struggle to keep a reliable video connection and there really isn't a way to fix it.

In general, though, if the video stops and there is just a black box without a big "Play" button in the middle of it, "refreshing" your browser usually re-starts the video. Unfortunately, interruptions during live broadcasts are usually unavoidable. However, with the new cutting-edge technology we're using in 2016 combined with you using a computer / smart phone / tablet less than 2 years old can minimized interruptions and in some cases avoid them all together. It is just the nature of this young technology, but it will improve in the coming years.
