Sat Nam Everyone! Sangeet and I apologize for not being able to join you in a live yoga class this morning. Instead, we're encouraging you to do the yoga class below. We'll leave it available for the week, so enjoy it as many times as you wish! Sangeet leads a perfect class to start the month of May. Learn a simple kriya (exercise) to handle moments of worry, upset, or when you want to yell and scream. Strengthen your heart with seven strong asanas (postures) and learn a short meditation for brain drain. The video is below.

This Morning's Yoga Class is Titled “Power To The Heart & Peace To The Mind”

Dear Family,

Here’s a great set for this opening week of a high-power 10-Cycle month of new beginnings.

When Sangeet led this set with us almost a year ago at Anahata Studio she told us it was the perfect way to calm a worried or upset mind.

Normally most folks breathe about 15 times a minute. Slow the breath down to four breaths per minute and after a few minutes the disruptive thoughts may still be there but they will not provoke an emotional reaction. No more desire to yell or shout. You have balanced the functional brain. This is a formula for tranquility, balance and intuition given by the Master.

While it’s great for women to do at any time, it’s perfect medicine for everyone.

Hari Nam gives us beautiful examples of the classic “Bridge Series” yoga set bringing together powerful Crow Squats with Body Drops and a moving Bridge Pose.

The mantra for the set is “Ong Sohung” ( “One God, I am You!”) both out loud and silently while focusing on the Pineal Gland.

The closing meditation in the yoga set brings powerful energy, elevating the consciousness. The Master gave us the closing “Long Ong” meditation many times for differing reasons.

He told us it eradicates loneliness between us and God. It is a powerful anti-depressant and combats “brain drain.” Sangeet says this is a special favorite of hers.

After the final exercise, relax on your back, close your eyes, and drift off as Sangeet gently plays her beautiful gong as you drift away into Infinity.
