Dear Friends,

Yes, thank you, all of you. For helping to make this past summer, this time in our lives so beautiful.

Last week I spent a week in New Mexico teaching some 50 women at our 3HO Yoga Women's Camp and they were a great group of ladies. I had taken my list of those I had planned to write cards of thanks for all our wonderful wedding gifts - this being my third trip away and the third time I did my best to get time to write those cards! - but so many women came to my door asking questions, seeking advice.

So… thank you cards didn't get written again, and, here I am full of gratitude to so many of you. So now is the time to write one giant card. And here it is!

First, I want to express gratitude to everyone who stopped me, gave me a hug and called me "Mrs. Khalsa." Just as I thank my husband for addressing me many times as "dear wife."

We are grateful to all of you who gave us monetary gifts which helped us greatly with the beautiful reception and allowed us to take a week off for a lovely honeymoon in Mexico (Pelican Peetey thanks you all also!).

The gifts were as diverse and sweet as the dear hearts who gave them to us. Please know that, even though I can't mention names here, I have put you all in my prayers. Of course we were all awed by the wedding cakes, in Phoenix and New Mexico, decorations for the cake here and the foyer photo display as well as the magnificent reception décor. The kind hearts of kind helpers were surely a gift!

We received numerous items for use in our home, from dinnerware, an ornate vase, unique bowls and a hand crafted salad bowl set, to a wooden serving tray, a salsa serving set, a tea service, an ornate gold teapot, chimes, sacred pictures, photo albums and collage frames, ornate candles, a handmade heart box, ceramic sun face, wall hangings, and a hand-painted dolphin for our patio. Of course Hari Nam put the several Home Depot gift cards to use on home improvements and we're planning to use soon the various gifts of "movie money."

On our bed is a beautiful hand-knit blanket, nearby a sweet beaded dream catcher, and several great candles and candle lamps. Sacred stones given us are on our two altars. The corsage I wore at the reception was a neat surprise gift, as were two white swan planters. A book of poetry given us has already been well enjoyed. Two stuffed froggies bring smiles to all.

Numerous plants and flowers were gratefully received and all growing things were added to our large patio planter and fountain created by my hubby along with several pairs of helping hands and the plant expertise of Kewal Kaur.

Thank you, thank you, thank you all for everything! That thanks isn't simply for the things you gifted us with. You are the gifts. We see you as gifts in our lives. I pray that you see yourselves as gifts in your own lives.

Live with an "attitude of gratitude," as our teacher Yogi Bhajan once said, and your lives will be graced with abundance - abundance of wisdom, nobility and joy.
