In her Spiritual Counseling practice, Sangeet puts to use the mastery of a large array of skills including NLP (a modern form of behavioral modification therapy known as Neuro-Linguistic Programming) techniques, extensive knowledge in Starcode of Destiny™ Numerology and decades of experience as a senior lead trainer of Kundalini yoga.
Sangeet has a unique gift of being able to understand and help people regardless of circumstances or background. Sessions are in person or by phone.
Kundalini Yoga Classes are taught weekly by Sangeet and Hari Nam Singh, each with over 30 years of experience. The classes are fun, energetic, inspiring, and support a daily yoga practice. Our highlight-class each month, a one-hour gong meditation, regularly draws people from across the metropolitan Phoenix area.
Developed by Sangeet, Starcode of Destiny™ workshops are based on yoga numerology taught by Yogi Bhajan in the early 1980s. Sangeet has been refining and expanding this ancient system for 20 years in her counseling practice. Each fall she now presents “Starcode of Destiny” as a series of powerful and enjoyable weekend workshops and will publish a new book on the subject, titled “The Blessings Code,” in 2009.
Sangeet has also published materials such as books, video and CDs to help further her work at The Healing Source: - Sangeet's popular first book, “Womanheart - Healing Our Relationships, Loving Ourselves” -Sangeet's Starcode of Destiny™ home-study video series -Kundalini Yoga meditation music CDs and yoga books - Upcoming book “The Blessings Code,” which focuses on the Starcode of Destiny™numerology system developed by Sangeet and based on yoga numerology taught by Yogi Bhajan.
Our future lies in continuing this outreach through books and videos, larger and more numerous retreats, and a growing corps of healing professionals who spread the light and love to thousands of others. About our founder, Ms. Sangeet Kaur Khalsa The Healing Source, founded in 1987 and incorporated in 1992, is established on Sangeet's unique combination of skills. Having over 30 years of training in the ancient science of Kundalini Yoga under the direction of world-renowned Yoga Master Yogi Bhajan, Sangeet also has extensive experience as a Reiki Master-Trainer, as a master numerologist, counselor, teacher and minister.
As a Senior Lead Trainer certified internationally by the Kundalini Research Institute, Sangeet has served since 1995 as a member of the council that has created and continues to develop KRI’s International Teacher Training Program, established in 40 countries worldwide.
Sangeet is currently chair of the board of 3HO Foundation of Arizona, the principal non-profit yoga teaching organization of Kundalini Yoga in Arizona.
A Reiki master trainer since 1991, Sangeet Kaur Khalsa began working with Reiki in 1989 and since then has trained over 3,000 healers. She has taught a large array of professionals including physicians, nurses and massage therapists and continues to teach healers from all over the country. Twenty-two people from seven different states are currently enrolled in The Healing Source’s 2009 Reiki Master Program. In her own Reiki practice, Sangeet has worked in hospitals, in E.R. and I.C.U. environments, as well as with critically ill, pre-surgery and post- surgery patients. In 2000, Sangeet was presented with the coveted "Healer of the Year" award by Arizona's top YWCA for her work with the critically ill.
Sangeet’s popular book “Womanheart - Healing Our Relationships, Loving Ourselves,” brings extensive knowledge on women’s teachings, couched in ancient yogic traditions and three decades of study with Yoga Master Yogi Bhajan. “Womanheart” brings to life the core of Sangeet’s wisdom in women’s issues through stories of the hundreds of women she has counseled and who epitomize the challenges all women face and the greater promise they can live.
In 1991, Sangeet created what would become her signature program as a teacher: Womanheart® Healing Retreats for Women, which has been organized yearly since then. Over the years, hundreds of women have attended these retreats. Course participants arrive with a variety of life experiences, ranging in age from 15 to 84 and hailing from across the U.S. and the world.
In addition to the retreats held twice a year in Arizona, Sangeet has gone on to teach Womanheart® seminars from Boston, Massachusetts to the island of Maui in Hawaii. In late 1997 in Brisbane, Australia, Sangeet held her first mini-retreat outside the U.S.
A master numerologist and teacher, Sangeet has used and taught the Starcode of Destinyä numerology system since 1988. The system is based on ancient Indian numerology brought to the West by Yogi Bhajan. Her newest book, “The Blessings Code,” to be released in 2009, will feature her vast experience with the Starcode of Destiny™ numerology as a teacher, healer and especially with her work as a counselor.
Having worked as a counselor since 1987, Sangeet is a master practitioner in NLP, or Neuro-Linguistic Programming, a modern form of behavioral modification therapy.
Sangeet is also an ordained minister in the Sikh Dharma (5th largest world religion), a member of the International Khalsa Council, which includes the hundred leading ministers in Sikh Dharma across the world, and a member of the community council of the Sikh Dharma of Phoenix, a 5013c non-profit. |
